Battersea Power Station is an iconic Grade II*-listed landmark on the River Thames. Once a coal-fired power station that supplied up to a fifth of London’s electricity, it has been comprehensively restored and reimagined as a major mixed-use destination. Following decades of dereliction, the site reopened in 2022 and now comprises retail, dining, residential and office space, including Apple’s London campus, alongside extensive public realm.

Figaro Brands created the brand identity for Battersea Power Station, one of the largest and most complex regeneration projects ever undertaken in the UK. When complete, the development will span more than 921,000 square metres.

The brand identity brings together the power station’s distinctive Art Deco heritage with Rafael Viñoly’s contemporary architectural vision for the wider masterplan. This dialogue between old and new underpins all communications, expressed through the central idea of Battersea Power Station as Central London’s Powerhouse.
